This Post Tour is designed for those attending the Mesoamerican Bird Festival at Lake Yojoa, Honduras who want to see more of the country. It combines some bird watching with local expert in the western highlands with a visit to one of the most well known archaeological sites in the Mayan World; Copan Ruins. It is considered the “Paris of the Mayan World” due to its extensive well preserved carvings that line temples, stairways, arches, stelae and much more. This visit combines nature, archaeology with some good cuisine.
This is fully guided with local birding expert and an archeology expert at the Copan Archeology Site. This trip will offer a nice mix of habitats. All meals, transportation, lodging and entrances fees included.
